Harvest Traceability™ is the TerraForestry™ system that creates a verified digital connection between the standing tree, harvest event, harvested material, and downstream processing batch.
From Tree to Harvest Lot — Without Losing Provenance
1. Pre-Harvest Verification
Before harvesting, TerraForestry™ can verify:
- Farm and Farm Block ID
- Digital Tree ID™
- Species
- Tree age
- Growth measurements
- Health condition
- Treatment & Induction Records™
- Harvest eligibility
- Required approvals
- Pre-harvest photographs
This establishes a documented pre-harvest baseline.
2. Digital Harvest Event
Each harvesting operation receives a unique Harvest Event ID.
The record can capture:
- Harvest date and time
- Farm and block
- Tree ID(s)
- Harvest team/operator
- Harvest method
- Tree condition
- Harvest quantity
- Field measurements
- Photographic evidence
- GPS location
- Supporting documentation
3. Harvest Lot Creation
Harvested material is consolidated into a uniquely identified Harvest Lot.
For example:
Harvest Lot: TF-HL-2038-017
Linked to:
Farm: TF-PHL-001
Block: B-07
Trees: TF-AQM-000184–000196
Harvest Date: 2038
Material: Agarwood-bearing wood
Recorded Quantity: [verified field quantity]
The Harvest Lot becomes the principal traceability bridge between the plantation and processing facility.
4. Material Classification
Harvested material can be digitally classified according to the enterprise’s approved grading system:
- Agarwood-bearing wood
- Chips
- Blocks
- Small wood
- Powder
- Other recoverable material
Each classification can retain its connection to the original Harvest Lot.
5. Chain-of-Custody Transfer
When material leaves the farm, TerraForestry™ can record the transfer:

Processing Facility
↓
Processing Batch
Transfer records may include:
- Quantity transferred
- Date/time
- Origin
- Destination
- Custodian
- Transport documentation
- Receiving confirmation
- Condition upon receipt
6. Processing Link
The system preserves provenance when harvested material enters downstream processing:
Tree ID™
→ Harvest Event
→ Harvest Lot
→ Processing Batch
→ Oud Oil / Extract / Incense / Product Batch
This is particularly important where agarwood is transformed into higher-value products.
Harvest Intelligence
Aggregated harvest data can provide TerraForestry™ with information on:
- Yield per tree
- Yield per hectare
- Yield by plantation block
- Harvest age
- Material grade
- Recovery rate
- Harvest cost
- Treatment history vs. harvest outcome
- Block-level productivity
This converts harvesting from a one-time field activity into a strategic source of plantation intelligence.
Digital Evidence Trail
Each harvest record can include:
WHO — person/team responsible
WHAT — material harvested
WHEN — date and time
WHERE — farm/block/tree location
HOW — harvest method
HOW MUCH — verified quantity
WHERE NEXT — destination and processing batch
AgriTrace™ Integration
Harvest Traceability™ becomes a critical link within the broader AgriTrace™ digital chain of custody:
